Imprelis is used to eliminate broadleaf weeds such as clover and dandelion and was marketed as  effective against a very wide spectrum of important turfgrass weeds. Imprelis has been linked to the killing and damaging of Wisconsin trees and recently the <a href="http://www.epa.gov/compliance/resources/cases/civil/fifra/dupontimprelis.html">EPA ordered DuPont to halt any further sale or use of Imprelis due to the high risk of harm to certain trees</a>. <p><b>Indications of Tree Death and Damage</b> <p>The following symptoms have been reported: <ul><li>Browning and/or wilting leaves towards the ends of branches</li> <li>Twisting and curling of new tree growth</li></ul> <p>Trees with shallow root systems are primarily affected, including: <ul><li>Conifer</li> <li>Evergreens</li> <li>Willows</li> <li>Poplars</li></ul> <p><b>Lawsuits against Imprelis</b> <p>Urban and Taylor s.c. filed the first lawsuit in Wisconsin, in a Waukesha civil filing, in August. The case was featured on WISN 12 (see the story <a href="http://www.wisn.com/video/28830657/detail.html">here</a>). <p>Urban and Taylor s.c. is currently representing many homeowners who are left with damaged or dead trees, as well as several lawn services for businesses interruption losses, and we are continuing to investigate complaints in Wisconsin by landscapers, golf course operators, and property owners whose use of Imprelis has led to the death of adjacent trees, including, but not limited to, White Pine and Blue and Norway Spruce. <p>We are handling these cases on a <b>contingency fee basis</b>, meaning that you do not pay any fees or costs unless we are successful in making DuPont pay for damages caused. <p>We are ready to file many more cases and are working daily on these matters.
